If history repeats itself the 145’s coming back from TSA will be so jacked up it’d probably be to much for Piedmont’s limited MX team to fix them. So they’ll give us 15 that are all ready back upto AAG standard.

Not saying this will happen but I think it’s possible. I still believe ideally AAG wants the 3 WO’s to be single type certificates.

That would make sense on an organizational scale but not the whipsaw price control one.

I think the days of whipsaw price control are over for now due to the worsening shortage at the regional level. Regionals are doing everything they can to keep up right now but it’s going to get much worse if/when all the big boys are hiring full bore at the same time.

How do we have a shortage if we’re nearly fully staffed?

Everyone has apps out dude, if they want us they can have us but it’s crickets for 90% of pilots at the regional level.

We're are no where fully staffed. Look at our open time.. we have over 3000 hours available...

We're barely had 400 line pilots tonight now... we're just lost never 20 plus fos for upgrade this week .

It's a mess right now.. when we're no longer gettin jr manned or extended for free we are properly staffed. Ive been called 6 times the last two weeks to work on days off odeon g triple..... i respond my usual answer.. i need double what your asking...

We are not properly staffed.....

Well, 1/4 of the company (probably more) is in training.

This is what I’m talking about. Being properly staffed is no longer a question of “if”, it’s “when”.

750 pilots is enough staffing for 60 jets. We have 50 jets now and 250 people in the training pipeline. The staffing situation will be better sooner than later.

Classes need to be 9 people per month going forward to stave off attrition and flow.
