Isom stated in a townhall meeting on 5/8 that Envoy will be a 200 plane fleet, PSA 150, and PDT “about 60”. You guys are just about there aren’t you? Besides, does it really make sense to do bridge/conformity checks on the TSA birds and at the same time send 15 planes to you which need to go through your conformity as well? I though AAG was watching spending?

Lol since when does making sense actually apply to any decision airline Mngmt makes. We reach 60 in April. Something to doesn’t smell right though. We are pushing 700ish pilots on payroll and why have two sims for just 60 Aircraft. There’s more to the equation, we just haven’t been told yet.

Not surprising. There are always outliers. Usually the 11 month+ folks request some time free of the training pipeline (Mil leave or FMLA type stuff) and the company is able to accommodate them.

You realize this is abornal right? Normal 121 training footprint is roughly 2 months. This place has had years to put the right pieces in place to correct this and they have not.

If I had to make an educated guess base on the facts we have at hand, we will end up being no more than a 800 pilot airline with a healthily staffed reserve.
~350 Pilots in PHL
~150 Pilots in CLT
~150 Pilots in DCA (Taking over some of the TSA flying) as per the Newsletter.
60 airplanes, which we are due to finish taking deliveries of in February per the Flight ops department during the MEC meeting in June.
We’re done growing. Look at the writing on the wall, the premium pay is gone.

^ this is correct. A friend of mine flowed to mainline from PSA back in July and she just finished SOE last week. 2 months.
