Piedmont Airlines News & Rumors
#2764
Some is warranted (unstable app rates, fatigue witch hunts, etc) and some blown way out of whack (looking at you, 146 kts of BS). Remember ladies and gents, there is a waiver and work around for nearly everything. Ops check good, ok for service!

Well, apparently one of our CA was terminated and decided to tell the FAA about the flaps situation in addition to pilot pushing and fatigue issues.
How true this is I can’t say, but I’ve heard the rumor on the line multiple times now which is a little concerning.
I hope not.

Agreed, that’s why I think “certificate action” rumors is simply trolling... We would see fines before anything else happened.

I mean people have crashed airplanes before and still had an airline after so I don’t see how they could take action against us. But either way I just figured I’d ask and see if anyone heard the same thing. It’s an ugly rumor for sure.

The FAA is saving face that they approved the profile section with the 146 to 155kts. A lot of politics going on here.. And when lawyers get involved things get crazy..
