Sir.. the earliest you will everr flow is 2025.. at best and after your bonus year you'll earn about 55k to 60k salary as captain here. i heard we may never get to 6 per month.. as resignations are picking up.. and somehow we're now far away from 725 when cp shirl updates the list with new hires and many losses after the holiday week...

You have no idea what the pulse of the pilot group is right now... how half the people are ****ed off and the other half are ****ed on.. plus we just had a group of fos notified they were bypassed for upgrade because they are short on fos and can't pull them off the line.
Wait until your first couple months of perpetual reserve and you get... hey baby.. we got plans for you.. i have to give you the call out...

Don’t forget today’s worst is tomorrow’s greatest. Sure happened at Pdt and I’m banking on it happening at aa as well. You want to go to the place that’s awful before it’s good. Look at the best regionals as of late. Remember everyone laughed at SWA too. And Jet Blue. Parker has always lived a very risky business life and he made 20M betting on himself, his employees, and the company. Pre merger w AA. Worked out graciously. If you’re in before end of 19 and the new CBA ya should be golden. After, I bet ppl move laterally to AA. Had a delta guy w 11 months in leave for my NH class. Hope the rumors about hiring slow down isn’t accurate. And if it is, hope it’s just s single month like last year. Not counting December.

Because of retirements. US/AA retirement numbers become staggering in just a couple years. And unlike Delta, AA has not been proactive in front-loading it’s hiring needs. So a new hire at AA over the next couple years stands to gain a lot more relative seniority than going to Delta or UA.
I don’t remember the exact numbers, but an AA union rep showed me some numbers that said something to the effect that if a pilot is hired before 2021, they will stand to move almost halfway up the seniority list at AA by about 2030.

Airlines with the newest fleet:
1.) Spirit
2.) Frontier
3.) Alaska
4.) JetBlue
5.) Hawaiian
6.) American
Wonder who among that list has the most debt? Take a wild guess, and then tell me that fleet modernization has anything to do with American and it's debt problem.
I am literally crying with laughter right now. I'll consider you a pilot here when you pass your checkride. You called it a "flow selector thing" because you actually don't understand how it works because you barely even work here. hahahahaha. Changing my pants because they're soaked

I really don't understand the three amount of kiolaid people have here.. yeah i had it for a while.. but about a month into training i realized, you can't believe one thinking you are told here.
When i first joined the place was in the middle of a 180 turn for the better .. today.. I'm watching a 180 into a disaster..
Plus I'm ****ed anyone here 3 years is now making much less than people who just got here.. both fo and ca.
