Gets Weekends Off

I find it funny how some Repugnant pilot shows up thinking he has a say in anything we are discussing here. You clearly think Repugnant is better or you would be here. OR you couldn't stomach flying anything that isn't brand new. I could care less about your decisions, I suggest you adopt a similar mentality.

Even Mainline does not have min 13 off. Many guys I talk to that are still in 1st year have 10 off. PDT Jet flying is easy peasy. 2-3 legs a day most days. Try flying a Dash for 8 legs a day.
Most guys complaining are close to the flow they will have had a whopping 4-6 years in the regional sector and then flow to mainline. All they know is PDT so they think Republic or the other regionals get 16 off and 90 hour lines every month.
Thank you Mr. Speed for at least being level headed. Other people like to bash the regional industry on their way out the door. That is their prerogative and I get it. The regionals pay is low and the schedules are not great due to short hops. We truth is we need more young guys in the union to learn the contract and get the younger folks united. This would help in a major way. To the folks leaving soon, please think about leaving gracefully and with respect. Some of you are going to mainline at 30 years old and don't really know how good you have it.
Now, I got 11 days off next month and need to get some 1`s for the cab driver. Ill start a top 15;
Aw damn I bet they limo me from MDT to PHL...AGAIN.
And damn I have to wake up at 0500 what kind of sh5t is this?
Dude guess what happened - I have a checkout message I wonder what crew scheduling wants.
No weekends off who do I gotta suck off to get a weekend off.
Those damn training guys got me doing Sim Lesson 5 and then a week off! Can you believe that how am I going to remember how to fly the plane next week! That is a lot of beer in-between!
You won't believe this but I have a 0600 report and the plane leaves at 0620.
That Hilton hotel didn't honor my GOLD status. Can you believe that.
Dude I think scheduling intentionally built the schedule so I will have a 46 minute break so I won't get a crew meal.
Man I picked up triple reserve and got paid 600$ and then they didn't even call me. What kind of crap is that I like to work for my money.
Dude this ipad battery sucks. Its the end of the day and I'm at 15% battery. I'm going to kill someone.
Friggin dispatch gave me 2300 pounds of landing fuel again. What am I on a budget. Go tell the fueler to put on another 500 lbs. I'm calling dispatch.
I request landing 35 to get us in faster and we have to do a go around. Damn PHL controllers can't space for crap. Slow down, speed up, slow down, speed up. I'm doing the magic mike shimmy on final going to S turn into a damn cargo ship this can't be safe.
Wow we get one rain shower in PHL and now we get delayed 2 hours. My summer is ruined.
This autopilot sucks. Why can't it intercept going 240 knots.
Man why do I have to land flaps 45, flaps 22 is easier. Who cares if I run off the end of the runway, I rather have a smooth landing.

You nailed it. They left QOL for the upgrade and flow and now it's an issue. They knew better in my opinion. They prob made the correct choice but are comparing apples to oranges as far as regionals go. We haven't reached the level of maturity as their former house just yet...
