Crappy trip rigs allow them to schedule inefeciently. Therefore only 2 days off. They schedule more efficiently when they junior man you into a turn at the end of a four day. The schedules should be built that way from the beginning, every day. 5 hrs minimum each day will get you more efficient pairings with more days off.

Why are there not one day turns, two and three day trips? These allow more flexibility for the company and pilots. One day turns could easily and efficiently be constructed, saving hotel fees.
