Plus we have the dash transitions that will go on throughout the year.

Then I realized that’d be a class size of nearly 10% of the whole airline lol.

Hope 15 can come here beyond the 56.. not sure training can get enough pilots to the line though. Let’s say there’s a net of 30 a month between hires and attrition, that’s only 940 by end of year.. and who knows how many line qualified that will be by year end. Also doubt they’ll be able to bump to a net of 30 anytime soon... ?
That’s ambitious... in the last 12 months or so PDT has had an average net gain of 8/ month.
The pilot group will probably end with 760ish on the seniority list at the end of 2018 unless something drastically changes.

Out of curiosity, why?

If there are reasonable gains, then I say yes 100%. Perception is reality to perspective new hires. No one appreciates uncertainty and division in an organization, when at least some gains could be made short term. Let's not wait for the possibility of better, when better could be staring us down. Then, if we can't hire, it will improve by default and need...not because we are obstinate.

I heard the same. This morning. **** raises but QOL improvements. Passed MEC vote on QOL only. SkyWest will laugh at us at how little raises we got
