Jet blue should have a new contract and pay soon... 4 year upgrade and decreasing... You might not make the wide body top pay.. but you'll enjoy a long career of a great qol...

Any recent new hires able to tell me which upcoming classes are open? Trying to get an idea of when I might be able to start post-interview.

Allegeldy 3 month delay after interview before you start currently. Could be upto 5 months.

I interviewed in mid January and am in the April class. Some from my interview session had to take may. I was told if people are available on short notice for class they can move up. All told I think it was a good amount of time to transition out of my current job.

And remember, as of now you are going to one week of indoc and then back sitting for a few months. If you clear with the VP of Flight ops (many did last year), you can still fly some outside of PDT until you are called back to ground school. Don't automatically quit your previous job just to do a week and then sit for months on minimum pay.

Moral of the story: Get in now and try to keep your current source of income while you wait, as stated above. Double dip!

Anyone receive their sim schedules for next week? I saw a CLT sched floating around, but nothing else. Trying to decide if I legit have another week off or if they're just slow on the draw this week

I hear negotiations are not going well. Apparently management wants to weaken our already terrible reserve rules so that they can change and swap days off and days on reserve to meet their coverage necessities.

Also heard we started with endeavor pay rates and have not received a counter offer anywhere close to what we are asking or deserve.

I wonder if this is managements way of trying to make PBS look like the solution to all of our problems (their desire for coverage and our desire for more efficient scheduling. Either way I hope our union leaders don’t concede anything.

Potential new hires beware.

Not smart on management. Pilots fight dirty... d0, rs triple play is no big deal for us to lose... costly for management to lose...
