It has a secondary benefit to the pilot groups but has no monetary value. It would be rediculous to even entertain the idea that the flow is worth having second rate pay and third rate QOL... AA tried that a couple years ago and the WOs had massive staffing issues...

Now is a great time for the industry. Our companies are making some serious coin, and they need pilots to fill seats. I think now might be a once in a lifetime shot for everyone to have their cake and eat it too.

It will never happen because half the seniority list is 2 years from flowing. In addition, American wants the flow to reduce attrition at the regionals. Flows meter attrition and improve recruiting.

Anyone remember when the profit sharing was paid out last year? And what was the percentage? First rumors were something like 10% of Gross, then it was actually 4% of the Net. it’s also taxed at 25% correct? And I think I recall mgt gets 55% for their cut. Awfully generous for sure.
