On another note
Let’s look at numbers. 650 Pilots. We staff at 10 people per airplane. Quick math is 65 airplanes right? Have we hired our last captain yet? Hmmmmm. Let’s hope for more flow and a growth announcement before those ENd rates kick in. I know there is attrition. However, QOL is in the proverbial toilet right now. A quick look at the lines shows many years to hold more than min Days off. (As CA)
How do people very senior not have the ability to get a holiday off?

11 days off isn’t industry leading? Mngmt loves to say it’s AAs fault for the bull**** schedules. However it’s the company that plays stupid games with interface (first 4 days of the month). If you have them off, company can take you down to 11 days off and place a trip during “interface”. There’s no transparency with the company yet they want PBS. Over my dead body will I vote yes for that. They operate in bad faith now, they’ll do the same with PBS, keep your pay raise if that’s the price. Looking forward to getting my four junior mans for the year done ASAP and then turning my phone off after I complete my trip. All that said, IF the shenanigans stop and the schedules are done properly this place has tremendous potential to be a great regional where everyone knows everyone.

All good stuff. But remember you CANNOT be Jr Manned if you get a line w 11 days off. PBS would be insane to give them. The trips have been bad for 10 years and now they are hands down farther into the gutter. Go for trip and duty rigs. Draw the line there.min lines w min pay and 4-500 TAFB a mo.

It's in the contract and schedulers are well aware of it. If you are junior manned and it would drop you below 11 days a trade back day that is mutually agreed to within 45 days will be granted. The key is mutually agreed to, and if you don't agree to it they can't drop you below 11 days. That is why they always offer triple, but if your smart you can get two days triple for it or more.

The mood of the pilot group is very negative right now. We have a lot of people from other regionals that had much much better work rules and these people are p!ssed that they came here.
The interface, 11 days off and 13 hour duty days to fly 3.5 hours and a 4 day with 16 hours credit is the biggest complaint. We do have a chance to make a lot of money right now and quick upgrade, but I personally know many with buyers remorse right now. I personally know several that left now for endeavor or the ulcc. AA is going to have a problem keeping us here for the flow with the other opportunities out there.
Hold on to your butts..... its going to get wonky.....
