Default Better paying piston job vs contract turbine

So I interviewed today for an aerial survey company that flies the 206. The pay 29K for a 6 month contract plus bennies. However, I just started training in a Meridian for a small aircraft management company. It's purely contract (daily rate) and on call for them. When I'm not doing that I'm burning holes as a CFI. The 206 job has a regular sched that wouldn't allow me to do the other. Before everyone gets their panties in a wad about me applying in the first place, I applied back in February and was told there was no need for 206 pilots at the time. The week after I started training for the Meridian I got a call from these other guys. So do I take the better paying piston job or stick with the contract turbine PIC job? I know that turbine PIC is gold and that 's why I'm more inclined to stick with that, but the pay from the other is equally enticing. Just want to throw that out the fine pilots of APC and get their opinion.

Sounds like Air Associates?

If you absolutely need the money, go with the 206 gig. Otherwise, take the Meridian.

My $.02, worth exactly what you paid for it.

where will you build the most time? Is there any chance of advancement out of the the meridian? 500 hrs of total time and cash in pocket might be better than 100 hours of SINGLE engine turbine PIC.... it's a crap shoot

I say you go for the 206 gig... Save the money for the low paid phase you're going to eventually move in to at a regional/cargo when you get the time.

It's just a figure of speech.

Did your 206 gig tell you how much they flew a year? I know with my survey gig there were weeks at a time I sat in the hotel waiting for wx to improve.
