Default Ready for this? Nothing new just a lil twist.

Short and sweet. CFI CFII MEI with 800 TT 410 Multi 550 Dual given. Have not flown for 2 years and need to REINSTATE one of my CFI ratings (yes I know I let it slip). Following 61.199(a)(1) I need to get this done ASAP.

1. Recommendations on who and where to go for reinstatement (DPEs)?

2. I will be applying to flight schools and the goal is to go part 135. This is where I stand... Go to an airport/flight school with great networking opportunities or airport/flight school with lots of multi?

Thanks for the insight. PM if there your school has openings!

What area of the country are you in? NW? SE? SW? NE? Middle?

Or the Republic of Texas?

Honestly if you haven't touched a plane in 2yrs get a BFR first and get a few hours of stick time. The CFI thing you're going to take a CFI checkride to get it back. Texas I must say is a good place, wish I was still there. Welcome back!!!

Ok found my person. That search is done. Now the question is go to a Flight School for Multi time OR go to a flight school for networking and better pay?

You have a decent amount of multi time already, but I would still recommend going to the school that gives ya multi time. You will network there as well. Get your 135 IFR mins, then a new world of aviation will be open to you.
