What can I do?!
Hey guys, been looking around and it seems like I've found myself in a rut. I am 19 years old, with my Commercial AMEL and ASEL, along with MEI, CFII, CFI. I have about 450TT and 150ME. I have been trying to find somewhere that I can work and start to get some Turbine time, even if it is SIC for the time being. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where I could apply. I would like to get into an airline before the ATP law goes into effect, but it seems like everywhere has a minimum age of 21.. (I turn 21 5 days before the law goes into effect). I dont know what to do, and decided to look to all of you for some guidance!!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not to worry, you have 2 more years--ATP age is 23. Also, ask yourself if you really want to be a pilot after reading this forum's postings.

Go to college, use your CFI ratings in your free time at the local airfield, get a degree.
The min hiring age is 21 because you will have to be 23 by the time the law comes into effect. So, you have at least four years. Perfect amount of time to go to college.

450 TT, 150ME and a MEI... Did you train at ATP?
