An email or quick call to check up couldn't hurt.

Pete called me yesterday, he said in a voicemail that they would fly me down and pay for the hotel as well. I already accepted another offer, so I'll have to turn this one down.

Did you get an offer for another imaging company?

This is by far the best paying survey company for picto, and two one week paid vacations. No other survey company that does picto offers this time off. They're also the only company that does 100 hr inspections if that makes a difference to you. I worked there for two seasons and have recently moved on... That Allds guy, I don't know if I'd trust him... Ha, no most everyone you'll work with are great. Awesome experience, can't say I'd trade it for any other time builder.

[QUOTE=sandrich;1044796]Emailed on sunday, got a call monday to set up an phone interview. Interviewed on thursday. Consisted of a few background and situational type questions. From what I recall, they were...

.....Edited for brevity,....

Situation based questions:
You are flying and experience engine roughness. You are 2 miles from an uncontrolled field, and 8 miles from your home base, what would you do?
You are flying, almost done with your shift, and you feel so fatigued and burnt out that you can't fly anymore. What do you do?

Question 1; really need more info, what's your altitude AGL?, what type of engine roughness and what are the weather conditions?
Question 2; Safety is the primary concern for the operation.

I was once asked during an interview "how much ice would feel comfortable with in a C-172 flying through the Cascade Mountains during the winter?" I answered, "none, the airplane isn't certified in icing". The interview ended there. I wasn't offered a job but I never lost any sleep over it.
Good luck to you.

That's an interesting one. I agree with your answer, I wouldn't feel comfortable at all either in that situation but I would also add in my answer that if ice was encountered, the severity of the situation would depend on how much excess power and airspeed I had. A C-172 is probably capable of chugging along at at least 15 kts above stall spd with full power and a medium layer of ice on the wings?? So with an average rate of ice accumulation, you maybe have 20-30 mins to get out of it before your going down?

I'm not saying this means anyone shouldn't start to worry if they see ice on their 172; just tossing around some bs.

Sorry, but I don't have any info on the interview process since I had previously worked at AA as a CFI, I never really interviewed. Good luck to those of you applying. I'd be happy to answer any questions about the company.
How much IMC did you fly in a season? Did you stick around to fly through the summer?
