Check around your local (or desired living area) flight schools. You'd likely be a great candidate for a CFI gig. Probably the best job available to you (career-wise) IMHO.

You can also try ferrying airplanes or acting as safety pilot for an owner with a twin. Hanging around airports and meeting airplane owners helps.

I've got 1500TT and get this...After watching every Mutli-Engine "walk-in" at my flight school go to a career CFI that isn't going anywhere, I logged an incredible 4 hours of duel multi-time in 18 months. Total Multi-time? 67 hours. That, coupled with what used to be $1,000 paychecks ending up around $200 two years later, I quit CFI'ing. Sorry. I HAVE TO pay my bills.

Every jet-job on climbto350 says, "State the experience in type in the body of your cover letter." C'mon!!

I've canvased the executive airports/ramps in my area. Nothing. Not even the C-402 operators call to let me sit right seat after telling me they will. ***??

Now what?

And, the first person that writes anything along the lines of "SUCK IT UP" will show how unoriginal and unfunny they are.
Welcome to Aviation! This industry will always hold a carrot in front of your nose if you let it. This is how av business owners convince people to work for peanuts, because you always lack and always need to give your time away to get it. Unless you know someone on the inside, it will always be that way for you, unfortunately. Tons of time won't help, meeting the right people will!

What all has Cape Air been telling you, if anything?
