Want to try ferry flying?
Here is the deal,
I am probably going to a regional this month.
I have built a pretty succesful Ferry Pilot business in the past year to hold me over. I dont want to lose it because its just a shame.
If you google "Ferry Pilot" you will find that I am the number 2 result. if you google "Ferry Pilot ______ (insert state)" I will be the number one option.

I am looking for Pilots who are looking to ferry airplanes.
Keep in mind, ferry flying is hard and challenging. It requires a flexible schedule and a very independent pilot who knows how to troubleshoot problems and adapt to ever changing conditions, client requests, schedules.
IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
If you would like to try your hand at Ferry Flying here is what I am looking for:
I WILL NOT ACCEPT LESS THAN THESE MINIMUMS AND NEITHER WILL MY CLIENTS so please dont try:
CPL, CFI, CFII (MEI, High Performance, High Altitude and tailwheel even better. the more certifications the better chances of getting a job are.)
Total Time: 1,000
Instrument: 100 (the more actual the better)
Cross Country time (over 50nm): 500
AT LEAST ONE cross country trip of 900 NM or more in which YOU were pilot in command.
pay will be between $200-$300 per day during a trip (depending on experiance and type of trip). Jobs dont come every day but if one comes along and you match the clients requirements you will hear from me.
If you meet the above requirements, please e-mail me (you will find the e-mail address in the link to the above website).
In the e-mail please include your resume, a list of aircraft that you have flown (specify if its glass or steam guages) and time in each aircraft. (i know its a chore but I need to know in order to match you with the job most suited for you.
Small disclaimer: YOU WILL BE OPERATING INDEPENDENTLY with full liability for the ferry, I only match between you and the client.

Hey there,
Congrats on the regional job. If you talk with your chief pilot and explain the business and how infrequent the trips are, they may approve you to keep doing them. ANY commercial flying you do should be cleared with the chief pilot first, as it counts towards your 121 flight time limitations, but being a new hire and on reserve you might find that you are not coming close to 100/30
Just a thought~!

I'd be interested in doing this again on the side. 1300 TT and much of that was ferrying planes to south america. I have current Brazilian and Bolivian visa. Longest flight as PIC was 6200 (DLH-BHI). And I'm flying part 121 so jumpseating back to the states would not be an issue!
