I'm not real sure where to post this, so I figured I would just put it here and see what happens.

I am moving to the Memphis area in about 3 weeks and will be looking for some sort of job out there. I have worked at two FBO's(combined experience of about 2-3 years), and also got out of the Army National Guard after six years of working in Aviation Operations last September, most of which I was on ADSW(Active Duty for Special Work), plus one overseas deployment to Iraq. I am currently working on finishing my Private, and only lack a solo x-country and checkride(and a few other things) and plan on finishing all of my ratings to CFI, CFII, and my MEI while out there.

I am just asking if anyone on here knows of anything out in Memphis I can check on, or if anyone has any leads on jobs out there. I would really like to do line service again while working on my ratings. I have checked on FedEx already and I do not see anything on the careers page for hourly jobs. I will not mind if I have to even work at a gas station, but I figured this was a great place to ask about aviation related job leads. If anyone has any questions I am more than willing to tell you anything you want to know. Any help would be great!

Air Venture Flight Center | Memphis Flight Training School & Aircraft Rental

They have a 141 program, and hire guys (CFIs) from time-to-time. There's also an FBO there, if you're thinking of working as a fueler, or something else, till you get your ratings. Good luck in your endeavors.

Memphis is dead! I just left there and moved to Texas for better opportunities. Try Signature or Wilson Air. There is also the FBO in Olive Branch and Down Town Aviation at Dewitt Spain. Be careful and watch your back wandering around town. Lots of thugs looking for fresh meat!
