Dropping dispersants into the gulf-Don't!!!!!

I've been doing some low level work for Gulf Coast Research 80-90 miles off shore. On our last flight we covered about 30 miles of what looked like organge or yellow streaks in the water on the surface. I have no idea what it was and neither did the PhD I was flying with. The stuff is out there and the MSDS does look a lot like the same stuff in 409.

I guess you guys are up north, its a whole different story down here.I'm going to sleep tonight to the aroma of something like a giant fart.Its a mess.I can't even head to the beaches i learned to swim in without some contracted police officer telling me to stay away from the water, which by the way is not green or blue, but yellow.
@benny
I'm pretty sure you need a type rating for the 130.And for the short contract i'm positive they won't sponsor that.

Fat chance

And for the fart smell, Corpus, Beaumont, Galveston, and I am sure many other gulf ports smell like that all the time. I will never forget the day I first stepped off a plane in CRP and thought, "What is that smell?"

I moved to Corpus Christi in 2000. Out on the island, some of hotels had surf reports: water temp, wave height, and TAR RATING. Guess what, tar balls happen all the time. Oil naturally seeps up through the ocean bottom and forms them. When I lived in Ohio, there were places where oil seeped out at the surface (the first time I saw it was at one of the state parks in the hills).
