Smile CFI Jobs In South Florida

I was wondering if anyone knew of any flight schools in South Florida hiring CFI's or any means to build up flight time in the South Florida area.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

If you are/were a 757 driver, I don't think single time will really do much for you. CFI'ing is basically dead end when it comes to building muti time the recruiters want.

I would recommend checking out Palm Beach Flight Training in Lantana, FL (Untitled Document). They have new C172 SP's w/ the Nav II package, and C172, C182, C206 w/ G1000 Cockpits. They also have a BE-76 Duchess, a few C172M’s, and a C152.

The pay schedule is bi-weekly and they pay quite well. I averaged about $1500-$2000/month. If you have good work ethic, you can fly almost every day if you want. Also, I would recommend getting some business cards and passing them out to airport tenants for "Freelance" BFR's, IPC's, etc. There is A LOT MORE money in the Freelance world of instruction. (Please remember, don’t sell yourself short. i.e. If the flight school you work for charges $50/hour for Advanced Instruction, charge the same. REMEMBER, you get to pocket the entire lump sum!)

Good Luck,

Remember you need to account for the fact you will need to take your own taxes out on this, unless you go strictly "under the table" of which I have no information on doing

Otherwise, I don't know the cost of living down there, but that's a pretty nice paycheck for a CFI. I think I rolled in about $17k/yr my first full year(May-May), but I had paychecks anywhere from $1200 for 2 weeks, down to several that were $300 for 2 weeks(winters in the Midwest)
