There are lean times and there are happy times.
In the big scheme of things as a CFI you’re extremely lucky to get this much ME time this early in the game.
What I meant to say was appreciate what you have and don’t chase the rainbow.
It just came out different

Thank you for all the advice and everything everyone. Current plan is to stick out instructing for a bit longer, taking out a small parent loan to build time so I don't go insane from flying 40 hrs a month :-)

Aerial survey doesn't really seem like my thing, i'm fine w traveling but I don't like the idea of having no sort of home base to return to.

Still open to switching to some 135 op, so I guess we'll see. flying cargo in a 1900 or 99 doesn't sound too bad at all

This is not for everybody but have a look:

https://www.aceaircargo.com/jobs/

Summer season coming up so they’re probably looking.

Alternatively get a second job at the airport. Buddy of mine would instruct from 7-1 then work the ramp second shift 2-10pm.
Another guy I know got hired right out of the fuel truck with 260hrs into a Part 91 twin turboprop.

I would urge you to not take out a loan.

Are you beating the bushes for part 91 opportunities in your home base?
