I interviewed and got the job (but turned them down, going to a PC12 operator). The interview is like 5 minutes. "Why Star Marianas" and "When can you start". Nothing technical.

Star Marianas just started advertising for a Piper Navajo pilot.

Did they offer you the Navajo or single-engine?
The single engine right now.

Flyboy,

The single-engine job is mostly doing what they call Discovery Flights. You will fly short, introductory flights, giving quick instruction to Chinese tourists. It's not exciting, but you will be building single-engine time.

The move up to the twin-engine Navajo, on the other hand, will not be easy unless you already have a significant amount of multi-engine time.

By the way, the island of Tinian is where the B-29 Enola Gay took off from, when it dropped the atom bomb on Japan. Tinian was a huge U. S. Air Force base during WWII, and numerous WWII runways still exist on the island.
