The last few classes all had people for MSP. The good thing is that at boutique they will tell you where you will be based before you accept the job.

We only fly to Thief River Falls at the moment out of MSP.

I would still say DEN is the most junior. They keep getting more and more routes from Great Lakes. If you wanna see the routes flown, check out the route map on the Boutique Air website. It was just recently updated with the new Colorado routes. https://www.boutiqueair.com/p/schedule

Depending on staffing at your base, you can expect ~12 days off a month. Each trip (as of right now) is either a day trip, an overnight, or a CDO. You're home every day. Each base is this way as far as I know. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

In regards to the King Airs, the more routes we bid on with a 350 and secure, the more that come online. So it's anyone's guess right now how many we will have. We'll see how that unravels. Denver is the only base with them right now.

Everythings spot on. DEN doesn't have any overnights where you actually duty off, only CDO's. Literally the only negative I have to say about working here are the CDO's. We're starting to bid on new routes with the KA so expect to see more starting here soon. Also I heard through the rumor mill that there's talks of bringing on larger planes and bidding routes with those... So we'll see if that ever actually happens or just stays a rumor. Lots of exciting things happening at Boutique

Yeah... we were told some things during ground school...

Interesting rumors circulating.

Honestly just post your questions here, I'm sure others will have the same ones or similar ones at least.

Not sure if there's any DEN guys on here. I think the DFW pilots pretty much hold down the fort here.

Default Career Change?

Any thoughts on Boutique as a "first stop-last stop" career change? I could see this type of flying working well as a 10-12 year countdown to the "big green pasture" of retirement. I have the ratings and a bit over 320 hours of flight time; mostly garnered in focused 141 training, and most of it not very current. Obviously this path would require some near-term sacrifice and training, (to even try) not to mention some moderately painful mid-term income realignment if it were to be a "go". I may be nuts, or just overly optimistic, so looking for different points of view. I appreciate your time and the information you all have posted thus far.
