Boutique Air
#472
I have 320TT and just finished up Commercial ASEL. I was wondering, for 135 SIC positions like Boutique and Mokulele, would it be wise to have a fresh instrument proficiency check before going into an interview. Or does the ground and flight training they do take care of instrument currency. I have not done approaches in a year. I am refreshing my knowledge of IFR ops currently. I would just like to know if its necessary or not to spend the $$$ on an IPC.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I've flown with new hires that have only logged "hood" time and when they experienced their first actual weather, approach to minimums, they became paralyzed. So what I'm trying to say is that the more experience you have, the better.

Good luck. I have 2x your Flight Time, live in Denver have flown EAS routes before and nada as well. There must be some weird formula they use.

I know that they are looking for PICs for DEN right now. Might be waiting to see if any current Boutique pilots want to upgrade/ move bases before hiring street captains. Give it a week or two.
