They were contracted to fly 3 routes for SunAir Express as they did not have the aircraft/staff to fly them themselves. However, since SunAir is now Southern Airways Express and the EAS contracts are out to bid with decisions being announced in a few months, I would expect that flying to end by the end of the year.

Updates!
Here you go. 2 month in the company 1 month flying the line.
1. The standby/reserve various between bases. I am based in Kona and got assigned 3 days STBY last month and only one this month. However, there is a guy in the same class with me that have 10+ days on STBY in Maui.
2. I flew just shy of 90 hours last month, and is scheduled to fly more than 90 this month.
3. PIC pay is 36k. However if you sign a one-year contract, the pay goes up to 43k. Second year is 46k I believe.
4. They are pretty well staffed on SICs both in HI and CA, but hurting for PICs. The PIC in Kona can fly up to 100s per month.
5. 4/4 schedule is long time ago. I got 10 days of on Aug.
I am loving the crew and the ground agents we work with so far. And the view is just amazing! HCF can be tough to deal with sometime though. Other than that, MW is a great place to learn!
Let me know if you guys need more info!

The pay is based on days instead of hours. It is more like Ameriflight.

I just joined the forum, and went to high school in Hilo before moving to Texas for college. I have been looking at them since before I had my private. I have been following this for a while, and figured I should go ahead and join. I saw that they've listed openings in CA, but have read they've filled those up. So with what you've said about already having enough SIC's; are you saying it would be a "waste of time" to apply for an SIC?
Thanks,
Brandon
