Cessna Mustang Single Pilot Pay/Training
I'm looking for salary info for a single pilot of a Cessna Mustang. I think it is considered a VLJ >10k MTOW. I'm the wife, so don't feed back acronyms, because I'm not likely to know them! The Mustang can be flown with one or two pilots. I'm told the bust rate for single pilot is 65%. My husband would also be doing sales, booking charters, and other duties in addition to flying. Any clue to what is a decent salary? This is near ATL. My husband has over 5000 hrs, 21 yrs, flying heavy, multi-engine jets for the USAF and GAANG. Thanks in advance for your help.

NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) does regular surveys of salaries in the industry by location, make and model etc. Look here NBAA. It is a subscription service. Otherwise you can wait for BoilerUP to log on, he or someone else with an NBAA subscription will tell you what a Mustang pilot makes. Also, use the search window at the upper left side of the screen. I found this thread on the same thing:

Thanks Cubdriver. I did see that thread, but it is from 2008, and I'm hoping there is more up to date information. Maybe I'll PM him directly. Thanks again for your response.
