You are not the only one. I also call the recuiter about every other week. I think she screens her phone calls.

NightIP has it right. Get your CFI. It'll come in handy when you get furloughed at some point in your career.

Hi guys,
I'd like to know how long are the duty days in the Caribbean, how many hours and legs
you fly in a day, how many days off a month, and whatever else you can add.
Thanks

Spin,

It all depends on where you are based and your seniority. It can vary from a 5on/2off backup schedule working anywhere from 4 to 12 hours a day, to having a hard schedule in an outstation working something like a 4/3 or maybe even 4/4 (though those typically will go more senior, especially for the folks trying to get home on their days off). Anything can happen though, due to some shuffling around the most senior pilot in Vieques is I believe an Oct '10 hire (only 3 pilots based there though). To give you another example I am a 11/09 hire currently based in St. Thomas with a 4/3 schedule, I work 2 12-hour days and 2 9-hour days, flying 6-8 legs a day.
