I also understand that you are content with flying singles for the time being, but remember, once the regionals/charter outfits start hiring again, they are going to require a lot more Multi-Engine experience then 75 hours. Plus, they are going to want ME currency. Why spend money on getting ME current when you can be paid to be ME current?! Just a thought...
Good advice indeed.

Although I am not interested in 121 work, definitely not the regionals. And I'm not worried about flying fancy aircraft with glass cockpits. Don't get me wrong, I'll jump into a multi and log some free time ANYDAY. But what I really want is to do some "real flying" and Cape Air might be the place to get that, I'm not sure. I don't really know the type of flying they do. But flying small aircraft deep into the mountains and landing on grass/gravel/unimproved strips is really what gets me going. Currently looking into Alaska. I want to be able to land everyday with a smile on my face, not upset because I have 5 short legs to fly the next day, of which includes 4 flight hours at 20 bucks an hour. I can go to Walmart and have a better QOL.

I'm used to flying over 100hrs a month on a modest salary, I just want to be happy. You know!!??

Whatever floats your boat good buddy. You have to do what suits your fancy. If flying in Alaska is 'your deal' then get out there and do it. Only you can make you happy.

Cheers and good luck,
Lax

"I don't need to fly ME aircraft to make myself happy!"

Thats nice, I don't either. I get to stay current in both at my current gig. I quit 121 for it. The point is that you may be up for some tough competition in these times.
Good luck!
