I interviewed there last October. Never found out if I got the position or not, but I sure am glad now that I didn't move with my girlfriend and baby!!

I didn't really care for the fact I spent money for a flight and motel, only to hang around ALL day for a 10 minute interview.

Dave, while is an editor, still writes about the Av business.

Clue him in on what's going on. Pacific Wings is only in Hawaii right now due to Mokulele being around and holding out the 3 "zero subsidy" EAS markets. PW also redid their Hana schedule when they heard Moku was gonna start 3 flights a day to/from OGG for $49 a seat.

Here's Dave's email: [email protected]

All people who were rumored not to be involved with union formation in Hawaii ARE STILL EMPLOYED and flying today.

What happened in the last 72 hours by TOP management and fellow employees was shameful and completely unprofessional.

Well I will tell you this much. You guys need to pool together and file a classaction suit againts the company. First of all each of you need to file a complaint with the NLRB (national labour relations board). Send a letter of complaint first to the CEO requesting that he look into the matter. Keep a record of it.

Next step see what you all have in common weather you are a certain age, race, or whatever else to determine if there is any discrimination. (Dont think you will find anything there but thats what I was advised to do in my case with a few others).

Companies cannot fire employees for trying to bring in a union. Under the National Labor Relations Act you can also stage protests and also have the right to strike if you want to go that far and the company cant do anything because it would be a violation of rights.

Personally if all of you came together and had the same argument about the union situation the board will definitely look into it. Rememebr the "AT WILL" laws that apply. Well there are ways around that law. I dont know your company or standards and rules but that is the way to go for now.

GOOD LUCK GUYS !!!

So far our classaction suit has come together and because we have so many people claiming the samething the case was reopened. Its not a hard process at all.

Good to see things are finally on the way. Time to get the lawsuit going. Hate to say this too but its about time these companies that treat us like crap go out of business paying us for their mistreatment.
