I have a lot of friends currently or formerly at SeaPort. Compared to the Caravan operator I was at, this place sounds like NASA. Give it a shot.

Remember it is a 1 year training contract for new hire class and when you upgrade you must resign it for 1 year. The terms are legal and they have filed leans and have won civil claims against former employees.

That's incorrect. There's no training contract after you upgrade. The CP asks for a gentleman's agreement of 3-6 months as a captain before you leave.

They do and have gone after people that have left before 12 months as an FO. But if you can't commit, then don't go to SeaPort. Or payout your contract. Very simple really.

I will say this place may have changed since I was there, apparently the management has turned over recently.

I left 3 weeks ago. It's far from perfect, but there are worse places to work that's for sure. It got me where I wanted to go and I got to fly with some great guys.

Alright! Well I'm going to send a resume as soon as I graduate this spring. Hopefully they will be hiring then.

Coryk can you give some info on what things I need to pay attention to for prepping for a possible interview and how I can better my chances for an invitation?

Currently am a CFI, SEL, SES, MEL, and A&P, with about only 680tt but should be pretty close to 1000tt by May (I hope ). I plan on getting my CFII in the next few weeks.

Pretty simple. Attitude and personality. Commercial pilot stuff. You'll be fine.

Could you elaborate a little? Is there a sim/instrument eval or oral knowledge eval, etc?

Thanks.

Hey, I am new to ALPC too and I have my resume in with SeaPort, do you happen to know when they will be hiring in the future? I also heard that they were expanding into Baja California... Can you tell me anything about those things? Sorry about all the questions at once.
