UPS gave them a ton of money years ago to out fit the entire fleet with GPS and ADSB. The ADSB made it in but the rest of it disappeared. So I hope they have better agreements this time if so.

Have 3+ transitioning every quarter.
FlightPath I has you start as an intern at UPS (during or right after college / flight training), then go to AMF (usually starting in the right seat), then go back to UPS as a First Officer after completing the requirements.
FlightPath II has you joining the program once you become an AMF pilot, then transitioning to UPS as a First Officer after completing the requirements.

Had an app check
Curious with the recent posting they had for the FO spot for the EMB -120. I was contacted by the HR specialist in checking on my application that I had submitted for the KGEG location.
I told her I was very interested and she said there might be an opening for the PDX but will check with the Chief pilot about it.
usually how soon do they respond back for a second interview/email to let you know if they want to proceed with the application?
I was contacted last week Wednesday after I put the application in on Tuesday, (the night before the call)
I am really hoping to get a call back to get the opportunity to be hired.
thanks for any info.

3%
Pretty much laughable but a 3% pay raise just announced. Hey, it's something tangible, they're trying...

Lot of Captains opening
Is ameriflight having a hard time now keeping captains in the cargo flying? I been seeing a lot of opening for captains position.
I was wonder If regionals are starting to pull more from cargo ops with lot of majors now taking up pilots.

Regionals are taking anybody with a pulse and opposable thumbs, but of course the pay is dismal. AMF pays Captains on the type-rated equipment better - but will need to take more steps to be staffed for peak.
