PHX seems to stay pretty well staffed. What is our time and what are you looking to fly from the start?

TT- 1240
PIC - 1150
XC - 740
MULTI - 31
INSTRUMENT -63
NIGHT - 50
ASEL, AMEL, CFI, CFII

I would be glad to accept an SIC positions at the start. Being shy of 135 IFR mins I would like to use an SIC opportunity to gain more real world IFR experience before moving into the left seat.

Hey all,

New to this scene. Applying for an EMB-120 position in Seattle shortly. Just wondered if anyone knew what the schedule for a week might look like. Would need to commute, and curious how much home time I’d get with the family. Have read some things online but looked dated. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

The EMB runs repositions empty from BFI to Pasco or Walla Walla on Monday afternoon and bring freight back to BFI. On Tu-F, they carry freight outbound, departing BFI around 0630-0700, spend the day at the outstation and return around 7PM that evening. So there may be options to jump seat on Friday evening, depending on where you are going and flight availability.

For the return, company policy says that if you are going to commute, you need to plan to be at your starting location NLT 4 hours prior to your scheduled show time.

You're pretty close on time. Just missing 12 hours instrument time and 50 hours night.

Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it! I believe I read somewhere in this thread based on seniority after 90 days you can bid for a different base depending on availability?

If you are not on an outstationed run (where you actually live away from the primary base) then you can bid anything. (Out stations have a 6 month domicile lock.) And you will likely need to remain in your aircraft for a while just because of seniority and gaining the flight time needed.

I was told Bro training lasts two months. Any idea about the training structure? I imagine simulators are not in house, are they?.

That's nice. I'm not used to so many resources after working at my current company
