So is DPJ hoping to send through at least half of their current hiring pool between now and late spring/early summer? I don't think it would make sense for them to complete dry out the pool before hiring more, nor continue to add more to the pool when they already have 120+ waiting to go.

Hopefully since I have been soaking in the pool since April. Not sure they really know since I am sure the integration is complicated and really unknown how many pilots if any they need. I do know the DPJ recruiter closed hiring a while ago but still gets resumes sent in, based on a FAPA virtual presentation a few weeks ago.

I am a former GAMA pilot who was only there about 7 months. I think you are all on the right track, just sit tight. I left before the DPA and Travel Management purchases and prior to Covid. The company was having growing pains without these two extra entities. I am sure that they will get it under control, but it will take a while. I think the entire operation will do well. Putting it all under one certificate will be a challenge to management.

The impression I got was that Wheels Up is in expansion mode and they are going to fill that expansion with the DPJ pilot pool over the coming months as WU doesn't have their own pool built up.
IF that holds true, it would make sense that things start moving in the next 6 months.

What did I miss....? I applied to a WU 350 pic job 6 months ago. No TBNT, just the email that says they received the application. I have lots of 135 King Air PIC time, felt I could be in the running. Now, no record of my application when I go to log in.

I do know for a fact that they recently changed their application process in an effort to have all three companies be on the same platform. If you are still interested I would reapply not in climb350, but on Wheels UP website.
On another note, it would have been nice to at least get some sort of notification telling you to reapply, right? It’s just one more example of how the transition isn’t going a rosy as everyone was expecting.
