Wanted to chime in here one last time to wish everybody luck. I applied and interviewed back in March and was originally supposed to start in April. April pushed to May, May to June, and June to September. Last month I was offered a start date of August 2 and gladly accepted, but right about that same time, I was interviewing with a local corporate department. I explained things to the Gama (Wheels Up) recruiters and they were incredibly understanding. We decided it was best to pull me from the first class, but keep me in the pool. Well today, I officially removed myself from the pool as I started with the corporate position.
I can't say enough good things about the company, but especially about the two recruiters who have been making weekly calls for 5 months now. I wish the company and the pilots all the best in the future.

Great update! Recruiter on the DPJ has been super responsive as well. Seems to be Oct for the latest first class at DPJ, which could change at any time.. nothing confirmed.

DPJ 10 per class , 1 per month. October is a best guess for first possible class, nothing confirmed yet. I am sure there are a lot of driving forces between integration, business needs, etc. Personally i would be surprised if anything this year. Still surprised to see DPJ on the FAPA virtual job fair. 120+ in the hiring pool already - that seems like a lot.
