Default Relax everyone

Honest I believe they are just understaff and don’t have anyone in HR to respond back. They need pilots!!!!! They are growing rapidly, just be patience wait until the first week of October then see what happens

Has there been a hiring freeze or something?

Not sure, two of my referrals haven’t gotten invites yet. They just changed recruiters so there may be some back log.

Fully depends on base and seniority, for example, if you are based in Dallas you are going to be flying a lot of overnights but you can try and bid for little to no overnights. Vegas has almost 0 overnights as of right now, as we expand a lot over the next year I’d expect there to be more overnights at every base but the day trips aren’t going anywhere. So every base is gonna be different. Also, the overnights we do are very easy and nothing like a 4 day trip at a major/regional.

Ultimately, yes. Maybe an occasional overnight depending on the base.
Any base west of DAL will be back home 99% of the time.

Nice! Thanks. What are the duty days like? Do you have a bunch of 14hour days?

No never have 14 hour days. At most 11-12 hours. Most range from 5-9 hour days.

Thanks for the info. So for the most part, you do get to be home every day? Even if not for the night… I mean, is it usually like 2-3 day trips at most?

How do you guys like JSX overall? Do you recommend?

Basically. I have yet to do an overnight for this company if that tells you anything. Being based almost anywhere West of DAL, you’ll find that to be true.

There are good, bad, and ugly parts of JSX. Depending on your needs, I would say this may be a great place for you. I know what my purpose here is, and I plan to be here until I my dream job calls me. My counterparts at the regionals are making so much more money now that I really encourage my friends that think about wanting to apply to look at us vs them. If they really need what JSX can provide, then I refer my friends here, otherwise, I encourage them to look elsewhere. I highly recommend reading the last 10-15 pages on this thread as it is mostly accurate. Take some of it with a grain of salt though.
