I recently flew with a senior check airman here and they did provide a little bit of insight to the ATR rumor. Seemed far fetched but believable.

Remember we used to be JETSuiteX. Now we are just J S X and the j is joyful.

PropSuiteX just doesn’t quite have the same ring to it…

Can anyone describe what a CJO for a new-hire FO might look like? Are there training contracts etc?

As of now, you’d get your CJO and start class about 2-3 weeks after. You’ll be in a hotel for about a month in Dallas. You’ll get a PIC or SIC type depending on your experience and/or if you have an ATP. No training contracts… at least not yet. I truly hope we don’t go down that route. I’ve been in a training contract and it only benefits the company, which rightfully, they should find a way to protect themselves. Having a training contract is not a great idea, if people want to leave, they will leave. I myself want to be here until I can get to where I want to be. I couldn’t say that about my previous company which there had been a training contract.

If it helps Randy get more money in his pockets it’ll happen… even if Alex said he will squash the rumors.

Rob said on the call about needing 6 months out of new Captains. Why in the hell would anyone wait 6 months when they can fill their pockets at Spirit or Atlas? They’re taking anyone right now. Get a grip. Want people to stay Joyful and Simple, give them something to show for their good work. QOL talks and Money talks. QOL is good, let’s make the pay good. The amount of corporate propaganda that there is here is crazy. Do they really expect people to whistleblow real issues on the pilot calls? Of course no one will speak up on the call because they fear retaliation. Management needs to stop with the shut up and fly mentality. Everyone feels the passive aggression.

Retired 121 guys that no longer care about their income, please stop applying, you’re hurting this pilot group tremendously, with inflation, the pay is getting worse month by month.

Is there something going on with the hiring now? I had the phone interview last month, was told to expect more details a week ago, and haven't heard anything since. Even after emailing my recruiter, I've heard nothing. I've done a little poking around and it sounds like other interviewees have had the same thing happen. Has there been a hiring freeze or something?

I wonder if they're pulling back the reins with a recession looming.

They did the same thing to a lot of my nephew’s co-workers. They applied at low time, did phone interview, passed, told expect an invite to Dallas, then ghosted them. I think they just string these kids along so HR can check a box they interviewed “x amount” of candidates for each opening. This allows them to show productivity to their managers.
