I believe they only have 2-3 lines that actually end up back in base every night.

Gotcha. I’m sitting at 850hrs and 100 multi and would like to find a 135 operation in PHX (maybe other airports depending on the commute.) Seems like that route would get me to TPIC faster than a more traditional 121 path.

We had a quick upgrade program but I’m not sure if that still exists. Either way, you’d probably upgrade within a year or two

All pilots are hired into the right seat and upgrade is based on seniority and competence. We have some retired major pilots that are FO. Chances of some of them upgrading are slim because of the competence factor. While they are experienced, they aren’t the sharpest and I do not mean that as an insult. They’re just older.

I am glad they are looking into these pay raises “more than ever”. It’s not like they should have been given out by now. Randy needs to realize this isn’t DGS. His worthless pilots are waiting for some answers. We aren’t asking for anything outrages. 15-20% across the board is plenty reasonable considering no pay raises in OVER 3 years now.

It depends on where you want to be based. I can see them hiring quick upgrades for Dallas or out East if they open up bases. For the West, there’s a low chance since they already have qualified FOs.

On average how many hours per month do F/O’s fly. If an F/O wanted to fly extra, are there open trips available?

Thanks in advance

Roughly fly between 40-60 hours a month depending on where you’re based. Also depending on your base, you could potentially pick up fly days or you could swap your standby days for fly days.

Any idea when the next new hire class might take place?

How do you make sure you are applying for the airline side and not the charter? Also, where do they do their training?
