I heard about the good and bad news. Inc guys, hopefully they’ll be able to get a good amount of you back. JSX guys, sorry to hear about some of your fellow pilots. JSX was somewhere I really wanted to go. Hopefully you all land on your feet safely.

Basically only 1/3 of the pilots will be kept in active flying status. Everyone else will either volunteer to take UTO or be furloughed. There will be downgrades within the flying pilots to achieve a mix of 55% CA and 45% FO roughly. It's a bloodbath and much worse than I expected. The silver lining I guess is that those that stay will go back to a full minimum guarantee instead of the pay cut that was originally taken, so when things do recover and people start getting called back, they will be coming back to full pay.

The JSX leadership is very strong. They’re doing what they have to do. Best company I’ve ever worked for and I’m confident we'll all be back to work when things simmer down. In the meantime, UPS is hiring seasonal delivery drivers. $21 an hour 😂

I second this as well. Best company I have ever worked for and customers love us. The leadership is positioning the company for future success just like the rest of the industry is during these times.

The silver lining is that there was a pilot shortage looming before all this happened and mandatory retirements aren't going away just because the music has stopped. When things start getting back to normal I see a rapid spin up in pilot demand. Just got to tread water in the meantime.

I feel sick for you guys. A friend of mine went over there, PHX base. He was very excited about the future. UPS seasonal, uber, lyft, door dash, whatever. Got to buckle up and ride it out.
