They just announced BFI opening April 1. Nothing yet where the next base will be. Some chatter of the Dallas area.

It may be a while before another pilot base is announced. That happens very slowly. There needs to be more destinations in place first to justify that.

How Senior is BFI expected to be?

Also, how is your dispatch, is it 121 style with certified dispatchers that manage all your flight planning\releases etc, or is it more 135 where pilots still do a large chunk of it and dispatch is hands off?

Junior. 135-style. Pilots do all the planning etc.

Default Interview / Name of lead recruiter?

Does anyone know the name of the Lead Pilot Recruiter at JSX?
Also, what's the phone interview and sim eval like? Is the sim an EMB135?
If anyone would like info on contract flying in South East Asia or the Middle East, PM me.

Thanks in advance for any info y'all can provide.

Default New base?

I'll second that on the Dallas area though, the rumor mill has been buzzing and it seems pretty likely for this year. Good news for you barbecue and uhh... Ten gallon hat fans?

Last night they announced the Dallas base is official and will start in July 1. It will be considered at Gateway until we have service flying to and from. All that means is they will airline you to and from Dallas to start and end your rotation. Also, this means Dallas is coming as a destination or they would have never done this.

Not really surprised by this they want to get their share of Californians invading Texas. Boise is next.

A few days ago, I noticed they listed Dallas as one of the bases listed on their careers page for the FO position. Assumed they announced Dallas.
