Good to hear. The operation sounds promising. Good to hear some real world reports as well.

AT JSX - From a recruiter, and echoed by other pilots I’ve spoken with there, it seems more aptitude based than seniority based.

I’d be curious to hear some hard numbers of those who upgraded VERY shortly after joining, as it’s definitely being sold as “fast upgrade” but scant on criteria...

Anyone willing to share more?

If you joined and upgraded immediately, what was your times and background like? I’ve been burned once before on promises of “fast upgrade” as a bait and switch.

Most of the guys that have been hired and upgraded immediately were either retired Mainline guys or guys who came over from other regionals that had been serving as captains for sometime already. Haven’t seen anyone come over with regional mins and go straight to the left seat after one rotation in the right seat. Has more to Do with seniority and recommendations from check airman and standards Captains

Good perspective thanks.

How about a 3200tt guy with the last 700 in an E175 SIC, and a bunch of single pilot pic pt135 time? Possibility for CA in short time at jsx or is that too far of a stretch?

Currently Inc is at 2 years. Its coming down with the Gulfstreams. Since inc has an argus rating 3000tt is the mins for a captain and since all the pilots at inc have ATP mins street hire captains are not a thing on our side of the operation. Upgrades are primarily seniority based along with pilot ability and a sprinkle of merit.
