100%, well said. Management always praises the pilot group but there’s no action to actually do something to get close to our peer groups in terms of pay/benefits. For sure has been a great place, but when almost every other regional and other Part 135 carriers are getting paid more it makes it hard to want to stick around. Hopefully they can do something soon.
145’s are LR. Hoping to get few XR this year potentially.

Hiring?
Hey everyone, I’ve had an application in for a couple months now and the company has been very very quiet. Anyone know when hiring is gonna start back up? I can imagine it’ll be sometime soon considering all the majors are opening up their hiring windows right now.

Right now, there seems to be a bit of a pause due to some changes in management. It seems like they are firing back up here shortly. I certainly think it would benefit us to hire. I don't think we will be hiring low time for the next couple months due to the lack of Captains.

Being in a hotel rather than your home may be a good thing. It allows you to focus on your training and not get distracted by things that you would deal with at home. Sounds uncomfortable but there may be some benefits to it. I have heard of a number of people struggle with training when they stayed at home. Maybe that won't happen to you, but statistically it could be an issue.

No they don't force you to live at the hotel. They're not checking if you're in bed at lights out. Take the hotel so you have a have place to stay and study with classmates and you can still go home. They just care that you show up on time and pass training.
