No proper comforts of a jet with APU's and a management team that does not care enough about you to not to give you airport standby the afternoon after you finish a standup.

Match Skywest in pay or no thanks from me. Vote what is best for you and your family.
I think this will "do it" for a lot of people. This is definitely a step up for C5 and many will go there over SkyWest being that the upgrade time at C5 is 1/3 the time of SkyWest. I know, I know... You shouldn't chase an upgrade. But now that C5 has upped the pay, that quick upgrade time is the icing on the cake. Well done C5 and congrats C5 pilot group.

When will this LOA be a "sure thing"?

4) Except 1-3 year captains, all captains receive $4/hr raise on the Q200
5) 1-3 year captains receive slightly more than $4/hr
6) New pay scale created for Q300 captains: Q200 + $5/hr
I am having trouble understanding this for some reason.

Current Q200 starting captain pay is 42, is it being bumped to 46?

Voting closes on the 28th and if it passes it starts on April 1st. Also, if it takes two years to upgrade, you will start at year 3 on the captain pay scale.

Thanks for the replies. Is there any news if the iad base will be sticking around?

And do they pay during training?

It'll be sticking around for the foreseeable future. Training is paid but no per diem I believe. Hotels provided double occupancy.

Default New CommutAir Pay and QOL LOA (proposed)

Pretty sure IAD and EWR will be sticking around, but no one really knows until the official announcement is made.

Training is paid at 75 hour guarantee, which should soon be $30 provided this LOA is voted in. Housing is provided, double occupancy.

Thx! Last question, apc is saying that the iad based pilots don't get parking passes. Is that up to date?

That's incorrect. C5 pays for parking in any of their bases. And if the LOA passes, you will be reimbursed up to the cost of your assigned base's parking if you are a commuter and park at your home airport.
