You should do the math on a guy that comes to CommutAir and upgrades in two years vs a guy anywhere else that upgrades in 4 to 5 years over a 7 year period. Over that 7 year period we make more money or pretty close to the same. Most guys here right now are moving on to LLCs or majors with 6 to 7 years under their belts. I am sure as we see more movement guys will be moving on in less time. So bottom of the barrel? No way! Just a place to build some time and move on.

Industry leading commuter clause that hopefully will become standard in other contracts. It wasn't a new contract or I might agree with you.

Comparing voting on concessions to voting on a free healthy raise is just nonsense...

This^

Why not vote in a nice raise with no downside? Its not like it was some crap 10 year contract they're stuck with.

Bottom of the barrel until you need a jumpseat. We voted in a free raise and an industry leading commuter clause. How about you read a bit more before you judge us.

CaptainCarl cracks me up as usual, and though I won't be quite as harsh as his meme, I do whole heartedly disagree with your sentiments Sly. I don't understand criticizing an operator of fairly small turbo props who is giving stretch RJ contracts a run for their money.

"LOA 8 is NOT an extension of our existing contract, or a new contract. The agreement provides mid-contract improvements in advance of our amendable date, which is still December 1, 2015. Later this year the Negotiating Committee will begin planning for our upcoming contract negotiations, where we hope to raise pay and QOL even further along with other improvements to our CBA"

as an outsider from eagle, this is a mid contract adjustement in favor of the pilots without the pilots having to give up anything, If i am not wrong.

I dont think the eagle pilots would complain if they were given a mid term contract improvements as Commute AIr is getting with no concessions. We had concession with no inprovements mid term adjustment afetr 12 months attempted by AAG.
