When you see these things, then a company is short. (which I have lived many times in my career at different airlines)
To my knowlege the reserves are not flying every day. Count the names on the F.O. list and I suspect you will find C5 better staffed than 6 months ago.

Without details, my understanding from a source is sometime in the new year c5 will be surrendering either certain flights or whole routes to select cities currently served. No reason not to believe this source, as said source has been spot on regarding other rumors in the past. I assume this to be why company claims we are not short staffed. Also this is just me spit-balling, but this "pool" is likely ksu pilots who currently do not meet the required flight times to be hired. Otherwise, why are people getting interviews and less than a month later are reporting for ground school? Just a thought.

Not looking good. New seniority list shows 220 pilots and that includes the 3 new hires. I'm surprised they got that many. They were probably told a flow is around the corner like most other new hires I've talked to. Sign on bonus is next. Stay tuned.

Not to **** in your Cheerios but the likelyhood of a flow to United from C5 is a looooooong shot. They've been saying the same thing here at SkyWest, and Tall you know how in depth our interview is.
