To help ensure an inflow of pilots when hiring at the majors really gets going. This would be a carrot to attract new hires. If places like Commutair cant attract new hires it becomes United's problem also when flights start getting cancelled. I believe part of this rumor had the stipulation that any participating express carriers had to have a bridge program with several universities so they dont shoot themselves in the foot when pilots start going to mainline and elsewhere.

The term "flow through" was the name management gave it.

At best, it sounded like a preferential interview, followed my more interviews, leadership training, and United would have access to all your records while employed at CommutAir. If you made it "through" the "flow" of hoops they wanted to put you through then I guess you could call it a "flow through"

All in all it could have been a good program for people that kept their nose clean. More than likely it was a band aid to try and stop the war of attrition.

No offense, but CommutAir doesn't really supply a lot of lift. If C5 went away, it could be easily replaced by Silver, GoJets, Express, SKW ect.

There's also been talk of a metered flow here at OO. Is it true? Who knows.

It's funny cause it's true. He was also at Pinnacolaba and just like ShyGuy left for mainline... ShyGuy to VX and Slats to OO
