Just thinking out of the box, short hop prop outfits will feel the most pain.

Shouldn't be a deal here at Colgan as the Saabs will probably be gone by then anyways
I really don't think it'll do much. We're contractually down to a 6 leg max day already. FTDT should cut down on the long duty days, sits and maybe the standups, but the changes outside of that will probably be small.

To the OP: Congrats, memorize the packet and know the flows before class. You will need to know it pretty much word for word. There won't be time to learn that stuff once you start school, so do it now. Once you hit the school house, study hard but don't forget to grab a beer once or twice a week. We usually took one day off (sat or sun) per week to let it all soak in. Good luck.

I did have few internal recs. they are big on those since the company is small. With that said i know they are short on FO's.

Little over a year and slightly increasing (we need FOs worse than Capts right now because they can't keep FOs around).

Supposedly, there was actually an upgrade class cancelled to keep us from going even shorter on FOs.

Everything is very well planned around here, and we are always adequately staffed.

I was about to ask the same question about the Rec. I have a little less time, 700 ish but 120 ME but no word on my app. Guess I'll quit flying the twin and focus on more TT! Did you guys just go thru the online web site to apply? Gratz on the class, hope you enjoy it!

That sounds par for the course....

This second career has seemed to have fallen flat so I was thinking about getting back in the cockpit. I'm just not sure I could stand slinging Dash 8 gear for very long. Thanks for the info.

I'm wondering how many people are going to be in the Mar 12th class because the e-mails I'm getting only have 4 people attached. Of course I believe they just held interviews on the 28th so maybe some of those guys will be ready to go by then.
