Congratulations on moving on. While I disagree with you on your outlook on the training and the company I can be happy for you that you aren't on the street like so many in this day and age. Good luck!

Great! Congrats! We will have to agree to disagree. You do realize that all this took place when you and H. were in MCO right? My issues wasn't training, it was fair-until I got back from my g'fathers' funeral. The way I was treated was shameful. I hope Silver shows more empathy to people in the future instead of thinking they are to occupy the #1 in your life - at all cost.
Well have fun. I got a new a/c to learn - not really new but you know.

I don't know if you were referring to me or the other guy, but it's cool being referred to as an ass possibly. Likewise nobody said to your class "nobody helped me why should I help you". We stated that we don't remember really much of that because it was so long ago. Either you or the rest of your class though was so hard up on asking what questions are on the systems and oral. Well maybe if you would have listened to what we were pointing to "hint hint it was items that we vaguely remember from the test and oral" we could have helped you more. I don't care one way or the other it's water under the bridge to me, but like I've said many times over I'll help you study as much as you can, but I can't just give you specifics of what's on the test because I just can't remember it anymore.

Default Pay for training

I have heard that Gulfstream no longer charges students to become pilots at their carrier. I think that you may want to look very closely though. I have come across companies that from time to time will say at first no charges for schooling, and then charge the student if they go over a set amount of sim time.
I am not saying Gulfstream will do this, but it may be worth checking into before you go.

Callsign changed Feb 1st. Also the maintence is moving to GNV fla from FLL. They are going to add it as new base also. Some of you new hires will prob be based in FL as well as up north since both Fl bases are shorthanded due to upgrades & saab training.

Time to catch up hesitant. There is no more Gulfstream.
If you read the thread you'll see that many did look into it very carefully.

You guys gotta remember too that we finished our 15% ride at 2am, like everyone else. We got back into bed about 3am or so, then were up at 7 to pack and come back to lauderdale. Very sleep deprived, from the checkrides and being up in orlando. So if any thing we did to come across as "being an ass" well chalk it up to the stress and sleep deprevation. You'll see when you get up there, people staying on the same floor dont care what hours you have. 4 nights in a row, they were running up and down the halls at 11pm then at 7 am, and when you get in bed at 3am after a late sim session you don't get much sleep. Just give us the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks to whomever created the Silver forum.

No flights yet. They just finished one interior, the 2nd one is completely gutted. I believe some pilots are typed already though...
