I'm at Silver. They need pilots at AFW, but they need them at TPA and FLL as well, they need them everywhere. In our class, everyone got the first base of their choosing. Sounds like they'll be coming out with a new contract very soon with added pay to try to curb attrition and to attract pilots. There are issues here and there, but any airline you go to is going to have positives and negatives. It's a great company, really is.

Would love to have an opportunity to interview with Silver Airways as I live close to AFW. I applied a little while back, but have not heard anything. If anyone is willing to provide a phone number and/or email to their recruiting team, please DM me.

Are you close to hiring mins? Weird that they wouldn't call back.

Talking The Bennies

Starting the interview process soon and wanted to ask what the medical/dental/vision bennies are like?
What the lines are like?
How the bonus, up to 28,500 really works?
Is it in fact now 12 days off on RSV?
I’d imagine it will be 6 months plus on RSV if you join as a Captain?

Thank you

Is commuting from one of the outstations do-able, especially if you get TPA or FLL base?

I'd say no, commuting from an outstation would be difficult. They don't do overnights since covid, so you're back in your base/domicile at the end of each night. So you'd have to buy a hotel, get a crashpad, drive home, or try to commute home every day and then commute back the next day.

From the careers page. NOTE: New rates and incentives are effective as of June 1, 2022 based on the Letter of Agreement (LOA) signed between Silver Airways and the International Brotherhood of teamsters on May 27, 2022. While some of the incentives in the LOA are subject to further negotiations, the pay scale is considered ratified until the expiration of the current collective bargaining agreement which expires October 1, 2025.

Question is the 85 credit hours the new minimum monthly guarantee (up from 75) or just an example (for math purposes) of what one could make?
