This was not to be directed towards anyone just that if you awake and alert in class all you need to do it take notes and absorb the information. Yes you must have your basics down and if they "like" you then you will have no problem. I say that because they do take attitude in to consideration. The truth is most times what people don't want to hear so it is not what they say.

I LOVE truth. So if they "like" you -you won't have a problem? I thought professionalism went far beyond grade school antics. Aside from this, I have seen persons with bad attitudes get bounced out of training or have a new one ripped for them for that offense. It occured when I was in flight school, my first commercial job, but at silver I never saw it. (Since no one in my class had it.)

It is a shame that a place has to like you in order for you to not have a problem. WOW. What's next - the jocks are going to start picking on the science club? Oh wait..................LOL!

They are not allowed to put such information out there publicly because the items and limitations are straight out of the AFM (or something like that) but if we were to replicate it, scan it, write it down, etc, we could send it to whoever we wanted. If I wouldve had these the week before class, it would have made training 5 times easier. Just trying to help out the guys coming in.

And by the way, I understand you have your side to the "story" but your digging yourself your own grave if you keep slandering them. Isn't this the same company that gave you a $1,000 bonus for no reason? By speaking poorly of the airline, you speak poorly of the people who work there (including us pilots). The training and flight dept does in fact know what's said on these forums, and word gets around. I'd keep my mouth shut, or else good luck finding another job.

Nobody's getting paid extra. The company can't send out training stuff until you pass the background check. But since this stuff would be readily available, we can pass it on to those coming in after us.

It's called paying it forward; apparently something nobody in the December has ever heard of.....

They don't discriminate there is more of a melting pot here at Silver than anywhere I have seen. And AutoPilot once you understand it is the same game at every airline you will fit in or be purged.

Relax Francis. No one is going to do it at your next job either.
You probably won't even know what plane you'll get until you show up.

And not every training regime is like this. Here, you know what airplane you're going into, so if I can help, I'm going to help.

I didn't know you knew where I'm going next though, that's crazy!

I'm guessing he worked there for close to a month and never received a paycheck. The $1000 bonus isn't that big of a deal. This place has always been the low of the low and always will be. There's a reason the pilots that are going there are not qualified for any other regional. It is his own fault for going there though. He should have known better.
