I agree. 1900s are like WWII Willys Jeeps. They keep on flying almost no matter what.

I was talking livery only. You can paint ugly or beautiful on nearly any airframe (excepting a few from England).

And it's in the eye of the beholder. But you can count the percentage of beholders for a score .

With the new BKG and BOS-BHB networks, any word on how crews and plane routings will work? Are they going to start new bases or just deadhead on UA/B6?

I figured that they might do a same plane BKG-MSY-MCO/JAX, to route the plane and crew through a base and pick up a few connecting pax, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Also I see HSV-MCO was delayed to September start (yikes!). Trouble with the ATRs?

I would think other routes out of BOS are up for grabs for Silver. Can’t imagine having one plane up there and be profitable, even with the EAS subsidies. Wasn’t there another Saab operator out of BOS??? Peninsula or something??? Maybe getting some of their routes??? Just a guess.

Penair had three routes. One went to Silver, one to United which will be operated by Commutair, and one to SkyWest.

From what I read, Silver would take the Bar Harbor route contingent on getting the other two as well...... Doesn't make sense to have one airplane up there.
