Upgrade here with prior 121 I hve seen at least three pilots that got the upgrade in about 6 months working for Silver. You just have to put the bid and leave it there. Most of the FO here they don’t have the 1,000 hours 121 yet.
Almost true, TPA is pretty full for FO's. Until MCO and FLL are similarly staffed I wouldn't expect anyone to move there out of new hire. On the other hand, If you want to upgrade, Bid TPA CA.

that's my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. I will for sure bid TPA CA right away. I can live with MCO for a bit. I will just suck it up if I get FLL. so if I hear you right TPA is a junior CA base?

My class was the same month 2 years ago and you will get days off for holidays. You will be looking at the beginning of January doing your check ride and finishing IOE by mid to end January! That was my situation with the same hiring month than you two years ago!

Hah, that's funny. It definitely works out nice having the holidays off!
Do you know which hotel in Miami they use for the sim training? Trying to figure out what part of Miami I'll be in.
